Jade attacked with hammer

After an emotional weekend that saw the reality TV star christened along with her two young sons, things went from sad and tragic to violent.

As Jade lay in her hospital bed a woman jumped out wielding a hammer. It's understood that husband Jack had been with Jade but left momentarily and that's when a 41-year-old intruder pounced.

It''s rumoured that the woman had been hiding just outside Jade's room all along. She leaned over jade "praying and chanting".

Thankfully the hammer woman did not injure Jade and is now in police custody. But Jade is said to be very scared to be left alone in the hospital now and is desperate to be allowed home for her final days.
