Hoff's family say he won't go to rehab

David Hasselhoff has had a well publicised battle with alcohol abuse and has landed himself in rehab quite a few times, but now his ex-wife says she doesn't know how to help him anymore.

David was hospitalised recently after having a seizure, thought to be down to a drinking bender, and this has worried his family beyond belief.

Ex-wife Pamela (pictured right) says that he is now resisting her and their daughters' attempts to get him into a rehab facility.

Pamela says, "The despair, feeling hopeless and unable to believe that things can ever change with David’s alcoholism over the years has affected our whole family. We want our lives to be different, but nothing we have done has brought about change. We ask David’s fans, supporters and handlers to take swift action to save this wonderful man’s life. I have always been close to my daughters to comfort and support them as well always being there for David. We will be forever hurt from this cruel disease. I am grateful for our two daughters who have been incredibly brave, strong and protective souls."

Let's hope he gets the help he needs soon.
