But it was looking more and more unlikely that all the ladies would be able to put their differences aside and actually work together again - especially Nadine who they all seem to have turned their backs on.
But now a source has revealed that there are secret plans for a three-week tour at the end of the year culminating in a huge 'Ladies Night' at Wembley which will see other female stars like Leona Lewis, Adele and The Saturdays take to the stage ahead of the band.
It's believed that Girls Aloud will be the finale act and that their last performance on the stage will be their official 'goodbye' to the world as a band.
