George says sorry

He's done it again! George Michael just can't seem to stay away from either drugs or public loos, but at least he says he's sorry this time.

The 45-year-old singer was nabbed by the police in the underground toilets near Hampstead Heath in London. He's said to have been in possession of cannabis and crack cocaine, and had been hanging about the toilets for some time looking "suspicious".

Now he's released a statement saying, "I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out." He went on to say, "And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them."

The police let him away with a caution.
