Custody battle gets very nasty

When Halle Berry and long-term boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey split it all seemed rather amicable. She even sung her ex's praises during interviews saying they still had a lot of love and respect for each other and that he was a great father.

But all of this seems to have changed as now the two are gearing up for a custody battle over two-year-old Nahla... and it's getting ugly.

Halle released a statement saying that she had concerns over her daughter's well-being whilst she was in Gabriel's care which is why she was filing for sole custody. His people hit back saying that he would not be airing his laundry in public and waging a war of words through the media and that all he cares about is his child and coming to a custody compromise.

But no sooner had Gabriel attempted to take the high road than 'sources' close to Halle apparently leaked snippets to the press saying that Halle thinks Gabriel's relationship with their daughter is 'unhealthy' and that she thinks something horrible is going on during the visits as the toddler throws tantrums before she is due to see her dad.

This all seems very worrying and confusing, we'll keep you updated.
