Denise Speaks Out About Split

Denise Welch emotionally revealed the breakdown of her marriage on 'Loose Women' yesterday. The 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner fought back tears as she announced that she and Tim Healy, her husband of 24 years, have split.

She said: “Tim and I separated some time ago. So I’m not having an affair, we have been living our own lives for some time now.” She went on to add that she wishes him every happiness.

Denise also said that her children (Matthew, 22 and Louis, 10)are relieved because they want their parents to be happy. During her emotional revelation, Denise’s co-hosts jumped in to comfort and reassure her. Andrea McLean said: “Just know we’ll always be there for you and love you lots.” Good to see us girls sticking together!

Denise wanted to stress that she and Tim are still good friends, saying: “Tim rang me this morning and said “Good luck, you’ve got your friends around you."
