Ashton cheats on Demi?

One of the believed to be strongest marriages in showbiz has been rocked by infidelity rumours as it's claimed in the US that Ashton has cheated on wife Demi... and not for the first time!

The story broke yesterday that Ashton allegedly enjoyed a tryst with a young blonde after a night on the sauce. What makes this story even more heartbreaking for poor Demi is that the fling is said to have taken place on the couple's wedding anniversary!

Demi, 15 years Ashton's senior, had been silent about the rumours until last night when she left a rather cryptic quote on Twitter.

The 48-year-old wrote, "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."

Whatever could she mean by that? Are the distinct lack of instant denials from either Ashton, Demi or their 'people' signs that these rumours could well turn out to be true?! Do you think perhaps the age difference finally broke this couple?
