She's here safe and sound

Victoria Beckham gave birth to a baby girl yesterday morning and David took to his Facebook page to reveal the name of his new daughter. Weighing 7lb 10oz little Harper Seven Beckham is the couple's fourth child.

He wrote, 'I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx'

How very cute! It had been speculated that the couple would choose a name, in keeping with their theme so far, that would reflect the fact that their daughter was conceived in LA. But sources say that Victoria has always loved the name Harper and had dreamed of calling her first daughter that. Seven is in reference to David's footballing number and also because Harper was born during the seventh month.
