Dannii's Thyroid Battle

Australian beauty Dannii Minogue has revealed that she suffered from an underactive thyroid after giving birth to her son Ethan, but the singer lost so much weight she struggled to lift her newborn.

It is reported that the 39-year-old singer quit her role as a judge on The X Factor as she could no longer face the gruelling journey between Melbourne and London – which not only made her exhausted, but was taking its toll on her relationship with long-term boyfriend Kris Smith.

The pop princess has also admitted that after struggling through appendicitis, her thyroid stopped working, causing her to lose weight dramatically and leaving her so weak she could barely pick up baby Ethan.
