Danielle "lucky she didn't lose leg"

Whatever your opinions are on model and ex Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd, she did not deserve the vicious attack she endured in a nightclub this week.

The 25-year-old had been partying with her footballer boyfriend Jamie O'Hara and some friends when a unprovoked attack ensued.

It's claimed that Danielle was thrown onto a glass table by two females, and paparazzi pictures emerged showing the young star covered in blood and in a distressed state lying on the pavement outside Crystal nightclub in London.

Danielle's friends and boyfriend were also pictured covered in her blood, so bad were her injuries.

She was taken to hospital were she had 20 stitches in her back and an operation on her calf which was badly injured. So much so that the surgeon said she was lucky not have lost the use of it.

She has cancelled the next fortnight worth of work commitments and has been warned that she may need at least six months of physiotherapy.

Terrible.
