Corrie's terrorist threat
The excitement about tonight's live Coronation Street episode has been building for a couple of weeks now, even if there has been some giggling about the 'effects' used during the tram crash.

But now it looks like the episode where we find out who's dead and who's alive could be in trouble.

It's been reported today that the soap could be a target of an Al-Qaeda attack.

The police in Manchester are taking the claims very seriously, issuing a statement saying, "This is a public, high-profile event. The risk is consistent with the UK terror threat, which is currently severe. ITV have taken on a private security firm, and our officers will assist them.

The maker's of the programme are also worried about the weather potentially causing havoc on set.

Guess we'll have to wait until tonight to see if it all goes ahead without a hitch!
