Cheryl: Insecure and sad

This weekend saw a 'friend' (we use the term loosely) of Cheryl Cole's former minder spill the beans on what's really been going on behind the scenes with Cheryl for the last few months, and the picture he painted was not so pretty.

According to said friend, when Cheryl was over in the US at the beginning of the year (before being booted off the US X Factor) she was so crippled with insecurity that she could barely face leaving her hotel room and would instead sit in bed watching TV all day and night smoking.

The friend also set that Cheryl would fret constantly about her weight and would swerve frantically between fasting and binging on junk food and spoke often about being unable to take the pressure and how she desperately wished she could leave it all behind and go back to being 'normal'.

Poor Cheryl. If she is still so down in the dumps we're guessing it's not going to help her confidence or trusts issues much that her minder's 'friend' has blabbed all her secrets to the tabloids!
