Cheryl's going back to US?

This is starting to seem very much like a publicity stunt. But surely not? Just when we've been feeling awfully sorry for Cheryl after being so unceremoniously dumped from the US X Factor it looks like she might be going back.

Well not exactly, but maybe, but maybe not, oh goodness this is so confusing.

The latest is Simon Cowell has somehow managed to convince the Fox network bigwigs to give Cheryl another shot which would mean she would be rejoining the judging panel this week - bumping Nicole Scherzinger out of the position.

This has not been confirmed or denied and Cheryl hasn't been seen since the news of her sacking broke nearly two weeks ago.

What a lot of messing about!
