Cheryl finally sees sense

Cheryl Cole has reportedly seen the light and cut off all ties with her ex-husband Ashley. It comes after various women have admitted that they've enjoyed 'relations' with Ashley over the last few months.

When Cheryl heard about the first woman to come forward, the air hostess, she apparently text Ashley to ask about it whilst she was in LA.

Sources claim that he waited 24 hours before getting back to her and when he did eventually reply he was very uncaring about the whole thing. He didn't apologise and said it wasn't a big deal as they were not publicly or officially back together when the dalliances took place.

Whilst that part is apparently true, sources say he had spent weeks begging Cheryl for another chance and promising he had changed and wasn't interested in going anywhere near another woman.

Insiders claim his heartless reaction to her feelings over these new claims finally, once and for all, confirmed that he is immature and will never change as he genuinely doesn't see anything wrong with his behaviour.

Now that she has been able to get the closure from the Ashley situation that she felt she didn't get when the divorce went through, perhaps now she can move on properly.

The first step to moving on - making up with Simon Cowell who she had fallen out with over the US X Factor incident. At this point, having Simon as friend rather than a foe makes much better business sense.
