My life is not a soap opera
Cheryl Cole was on Radio 1 this morning for the first ever play of her new single The Flood. If you think that title sounds familiar you're right, it's also the title of Take That's new song.
We all know Cheryl's interview with Piers Morgan is set to air this Saturday, so she deferred a lot of the questions put to her by Radio 1 saying that she covers everything in the Piers chat.
She did however explain why she decided to do the tell all interview in the first place. She says that she thought people were starting to get the wrong impression about her, and that her life was being treated like a soap opera. She also said she felt as though she was considered a cartoon character and that her personal life was starting to overshadow her career.
If we're honest, since even before she started on The X Factor her personal life (that was during the first Ashley cheating scandal) was the thing everyone was talking about. It's also, arguably, why people warmed to her so much on that first show. Knowing the hard time she was going through and seeing her being both strong and vulnerable at the same time endeared her to the nation.
What do you think about Cheryl not wanting to talk about anything other than work? She says that the Piers chat is the last time she will ever discuss her personal life.
And on a much more serious point... what are you thinking of the DIY red dye job? |
