The goss from the Brits
Last night saw the biggest night in music take place in London and the victorious mingled with the losers for a night of drunken partying and collaborations.

Girls Aloud put on a steamy burlesque-style performance of their hit single 'The Promise' for which they won the Best British Single Award.

Presenter Kylie had six outfit changes and Take That performed atop a UFO spaceship!

The big winners of the night were:

Best British Album: Rockferry - Duffy

British Male Solo Artist: Paul Weller

Best International Group: Kings Of Leon

Best International Female: Katy Perry

Outstanding Contribution to Music: Pet Shop Boys

Backstage at the Brits was a hot bed of activity. Katy Perry apparently threw up not long after winning her award, Cheryl and Ashely Cole spent much of the night cuddling up and grinning at each other, and Take That were not accompanied by Robbie Williams as was rumoured.
