Britney Lifetime Achievement

Britters has been touring the world for months now as part of her big comeback, but we couldn't help thinking that her heart wasn't in it.

However last night she was toasted by perhaps the most fickle fans in the world - teens and tweens!

Britney was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award at the Teen Choice awards in LA.

Wearing in a slinky black dress showing off her toned legs – Britney certainly looked a lot better than this time last year.

However there are rumblings that her dad's conservatorship is due to come to an end next month. That would mean Britney would be in control of her own affairs again - money, love and life.

But is she really ready?

Those who were lucky enough to get tickets to see Britney in concert this year have reported back to us that the whole thing was very disappointing.

The most common complaint is that she had lost 'spark' for which she was so famous.

It seems half the tme she is completely dead behind the eyes and no longer enjoys being thrust in front of the public - however she was contracted to do at least one more tour and another couple of albums.

So it looks like once she escapes the control of her father she will not be free - she will still belong to her record company who still have a buck or two to make off her.
