The Brange put on a united front

After persistent rumours of trouble in paradise Angelina decided to make a public show of togetherness by accompanying Brad Pitt on the red carpet in Cannes for his new movie 'Inglorious Basterds'.

There have been numerous stories about Brad staying in hotels after being caught hugging the nanny. Of Brad having secret meeting with ex Jennifer Aniston and confessing he hankers after his old life with her. Of furious rows between Brad and Ange over everything from her weight loss, where they should live and whether to have another child or not.

But it's also been reported many a time that Angelina is a smart cookie, especially when it comes to playing the media. And so last night's show of unity was possibly yet another clever move by the actress.

Angelina looked the most stunning we've seen her in a while, with a beautiful nude floor length dress with a daring split that showed acres of toned thigh. The couple stayed close on the red carpet and shared dozens of lovey glances and knowing smiles.
