Boyzone/Rihanna tiff

Well this is a surprise, you wouldn't expect the family friendly Boyzone lads to get into a scuffle over a woman now would you?

But if reports are anything to go by, that's exactly what happened in Sydney recently. Apparently the Irish lads got into a booze-fuelled fight with various members of Rihanna's band in an Australian club.

The scrum broke out after one of the Boyzone members allegedly tried to hit on one of Rihanna's band member's girlfriend. Still with us?

Yes it's all mighty confusing but Stephen Gately has commented on the situation saying, "It was over a girlfriend of one of Rihanna’s band members. We just wanted to chat and be friendly and this guy tries to rough us up. It was his girl and then all the other guys from the band start getting fresh with us - so it was on there and then."

Security then broke up the fight and all involved received a bit of a telling off. Who knew the Boyzone lads had it in them?
