Blake admits fault

Her father has been proclaiming it all along, but now Amy Winehouse's hubbie Blake has admitted it's his fault she's a drug addict.

Blake told a Sunday newspaper, “I dragged Amy into it and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road. I ruined something beautiful."

Having only recently been released from prison, Blake is in a rehab facility and claims he is off drugs.... for now. However, he says he and Amy cannot get back together without the risk of them both getting irreparably caught up in drugs again.

Blake said, “I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.” Quite how Amy will take this news is anybody's guess - she has made no secret of the fact that she fancies her and Blake as a modern day Bonnie and Clyde, Sid and Nancy duo.

Blake himself touched on this idea when he continued, "I cut my arms after we fell out over doing too much drugs and losing sight of ourselves. Amy got really upset about seeing me bleeding. And because she’s loyal and f****d up over our love — like Romeo and Juliet — she cut her arms too."

He also spoke of how Amy's love affair with drugs began, “I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her. I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty.”

Amy has just been released from hospital after her most recent 'collapse''. Only time will tell how she will cope now that her and Blake appear to have split.
