Cheryl's mum adding to marriage strain?

It's no secret that Cheryl Cole is very close to her mum Joan, she is often seen with her daughter on nights out hitting the club. Most recently Joan caused a furore by being pictured with no knickers on getting into a car after Cheryl's birthday party.

But the fact that Joan lives with Cheryl and her husband Ashley for long stretches at a time is said to have been a bone of contention between the couple for years.

While the scandal was going on about Ashley's alleged infidelity, Joan was forever at her daughter's side in the shared mansion giving her some much needed support.

At the time Ashley would agree to anything to stop Cheryl from leaving him.

But now that everything is back on track with the couple, sources say that Ashley is growing agitated that Joan is always at the house.

Joan apparently does most of the cooking as neither Ashley nor Cheryl are very domesticated and she and Cheryl are so close they say they are more like sisters than mother and daughter.
