Broke Housewife
Anthea Turner was once one of the highest paid TV personalities, but now she has received a battering from the credit crunch.
She was recently in floods of tears as she explained that her husband Grant Bovey's £100 million property business is near collapse.
The presenter of The Perfect Housewife, explained how she fears she may lose her £5 million Surrey home.
Anthea said, "Our backs are against the wall.
We are in it like lots of other people in this country who have been bitten by economic circumstances.
I can't remember the last time I slept properly because of the worry. I'll be 50 in 18 months and now I don't even know whether we can keep our home."
That might explain why she has suddenly popped up in adverts for household cleaner - beggars can't be choosers. |
