Broke Housewife
Anthea Turner was once one of the highest paid TV personalities, but now she has received a battering from the credit crunch.

She was recently in floods of tears as she explained that her husband Grant Bovey's 100 million property business is near collapse.

The presenter of The Perfect Housewife, explained how she fears she may lose her 5 million Surrey home.

Anthea said, "Our backs are against the wall. We are in it like lots of other people in this country who have been bitten by economic circumstances. I can't remember the last time I slept properly because of the worry. I'll be 50 in 18 months and now I don't even know whether we can keep our home."

That might explain why she has suddenly popped up in adverts for household cleaner - beggars can't be choosers.
