Amanda in car crash scare

Poor Amanda Holden must have gotten such a fright when she was involved in a car accident yesterday. She's just quit her role as Princess Fiona in the stage production of 'Shrek' so that she can rest and be as careful as possible during her new pregnancy. Which is understandable given she suffered a miscarriage in the past as well as sadly losing her son earlier in the year at seven months pregnant.

Amanda was on her way to pick up her daughter from school when the car accident happened and she was immediately rushed to hospital.

A source close to the star says, "Her first concern was for her baby. It was clearly a very scary experience. But after being taken to hospital for a check-up, both the baby and her are fine."

Phew! Good news!
