Slumdog Lovers?

The ex-fiance of Slumdog actress Freida Pinto has spoken to the press claiming that the love of his life Freida broke off their engagement after becoming infatuated with co-star Dev Patel.

Gutted Rohan says he met Freida before her Slumdog fame, he actually proposed to her the night after she found out she had won the role of Latika in the smash hit.

He told a Sunday newspaper that his fiancée's life changed overnight as she was being chauffeur driven about and spent lots of time with Dev.

Rohan even says that he was forced to keep quiet about their engagement and pretended to the movie's director, Danny Boyle, that he was just Freida's boyfriend.

He now says it breaks his heart seeing posters of the Frieda and Dev all over his home country of India as he is convinced the pair are now together in real life. Especially after Frieda phoned him last month asking to end their engagement but for them to remain freinds.

Dev and Frieda have never admitted to a relationship.
