Posh's second collection success

Vicky B has made no secret of the fact that she wants to be taken seriously as a fashion designer. The anticipation for her all important second collection of dresses was rife, to Victoria's credit, they did not disappoint.

She showed her collection to a select few in the swanky Waldorf Towers in New York and the general conclusion was that it was a huge success.

A few of her designs had a much more youthful vibe - possibly as the ultimate silencer to Cheryl Cole who claimed V's dresses were for 'Older Women'.

Posh says that with her designs she set out to create, "timeless, ageless and seasonless clothes, pieces that you would want in your wardrobe for a long time" and the critics seem to think she's achieved this and more.

One fashion big wig said, "Quite possibly the only person who hasn't been surprised by the success of Victoria Beckham's new dress line is the celebrity designer herself. These dresses look so well-made, so of-the-moment yet also timeless that they do the talking for her."
