Michael's cause of death explained

The American police have been after Michael's doc for some time, doing raids and talking to ex-patients, and now it seems they have got him to admit that Michael DID die of an accidental overdose.

Whilst the official autopsy reports have been delayed once again, reports from the States claim that Dr Conrad Murray did give the singer a powerful dose of Propofol but claims it was not this that led to the alleged fatal heart attack.

He says that whilst he slept, Michael woke up and asked for one of his aides to give him a shot of another painkiller called Demerol. The Doc supposedly told police that it was the combination of the Demerol and the already administered Propofol that killed the star.

The Dr also apparently explained that he had a nighttime system set up where Propofol would be given to Michael through a drip. This is a very powerful drug that is meant for hospital use only.

Usually a patient would be hooked up a to monitor which would alert hospital doctors of any problems that occurred. Because Michael was just asleep in his bed with no monitoring, by the time the doctor realised there was a problem it was too late.

The investigation is still underway.
