Jennifer's double tragedy

By now you may have heard about the terrible shootings of Oscar Winner Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother at their home in Chicago.

The terrible event has left people gobsmacked, what's even more heartbreaking is the possible abduction of the star's seven-year-old nephew. Police are sticking to the line of enquiry that the fatal shootings and abduction resulted from some sort of domestic dispute.

Jennifer is understandably devastated as she's been extremely vocal in the past about how close she was to her family and in particular how strong the bond was between her and her mother.

Now she is offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her little nephew.

The actress, who also appeared in the Sex And The City movie has received outpourings of support. Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has said, "Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew."

We wish for the speedy return of the star's nephew.

Update: The FBI have confirmed that Jennifer's nephew's body has been found in a white SUV. Terrible terrible news. Our thoughts are with Jennifer and her family.
