Former ‘X Factor’ contestants One Direction have a reputation for being heart throbs, and it seems 17-year-old band member Harry Styles is perhaps the most popular of all the boys. He was reported to have gone on a date with 32-year-old ‘The Xtra Factor’ host Caroline Flack – and his older lady is now receiving death threats!

It seems One Direction’s fans weren’t impressed when the pair were reportedly spotted sharing a sneaky passionate kiss as they took to Twitter in their thousands to threaten poor Caroline. She was quick to post a response, saying ‘To clarify. I'm close friends with Harry… He's one of the nicest people I know... I don't deserve death threats.'

The couple's supposed dates are causing outrage amongst the media and fans alike. So if the rumours are true, is Caroline too old for fresh-faced Harry? Or should she make the most of having a younger man?
